Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.hudelliving.co.uk. The use of the HUDEL LIVING site testifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Placing an order testifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and print a copy for future reference.
An order can be cancelled at any time prior to us modifying the bed frame for your particular order, and a full refund will be credited to your credit or debit card. Once the bed frame has been modified by us, we cannot guarantee a refund on the bed frame unless we are able to use your bed frame for a different customer.
Unmodified items such as furniture and accessories can be modified at any time up until despatch of those items. Please refer to 'Return of Goods' for refunds on Furniture and accessories after you have received the goods.
Return of Goods
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, or you wish to cancel your order after we have already despatched the bed, it is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine, saleable condition. Such goods need to be returned in their original box and packaging.
Before returning any goods, please inform us within 7 days from the date of delivery. Goods should then be returned within 7 days of notification, otherwise your right to cancel will be revoked.
The return of your goods will be wholly your responsibility along with any costs associated with return. Goods received that are incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account.
Goods Damage in transit: A note must be made on the carriers delivery note if goods are received damaged. It is your responsibility to contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Shortages: Customers must check that the number of packages received is the same as the number of packages indicated on the delivery note. Any shortages must be noted on the delivery note and you must notify us within 7 days from delivery.
In-Correct Goods: Customers must inform us of any in-correct goods delivered within 7 days of delivery.
Non-Deliveries: Liability will not be accepted for goods lost in transit unless we are notified by the customer with 7 days of the expected delivery date.
HUDEL LIVING provide a minimum 2 year guarantee on all of our products. In some cases, this is superseded by the manufacturers guarantee period. Information regarding guarantee duration is provided on the website. These guarantees do not affect your statutory rights.
The goods become your responsibility as soon as our carriers have delivered them to your door. We will deliver goods to the address on the order and require the delivery note to be signed by the person receiving the bed. Customers may leave signed instructions at the delivery address for the bed to be delivered to an alternate address, but this is done so at the customers own risk. Following receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods must be noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery.
Prices and Payment
All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of carriage, charges for which are indicated at the time of order.
The total amount payable for goods purchased will be debited from your account when you place your order. HUDEL LIVING reserve the right to adjust the amount payable to cover any imposition of increased taxes or duties, or any increase in our suppliers prices, or any errors or omissions in the published price of the goods on the website, whether or not the order has been confirmed. HUDEL LIVING will contact you to inform you of the revised price, and provide you with the opportunity to cancel your order. If your credit card has already been charged, the full value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges) will be credited to your credit card account.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards and Maestro debit cards. Orders will only be processed once authorisation of payment has been received. We require your exact billing address including correct postcode and contact telephone number at the time of ordering. The address and phone number given must match the details your credit card bank have on file for you.
Prices quoted are exclusive of delivery charge. The delivery charge is indicated and will be added to the total cost of your order. The delivery charge quoted covers all mainland UK destinations.
HUDEL LIVING aim to deliver your bed within 4-5 weeks from time of order. All of our products are subject to availability and therefore delays in delivering goods can sometimes be outside of our control. Any dates provided for delivery at the time of order are speculative and are subject to confirmation.
Whilst we endeavour to supply all products in an efficient and timely manner, all of HUDEL LIVING products are subject to availability, and therefore we reserve the right to withdraw all products at any time. Any products not supplied for any reason will be refunded in full to your account if they have already been charged for. HUDEL LIVING will not be held responsible for compensating any customer for any losses or inconvenience suffered in any way as a consequence of non supply of goods.
Whilst we have tried to provide as much information as possible, full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites.
Accuracy of Information
All product specifications, images and other information published on HUDEL LIVING website have either been provided by suppliers or manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or have been gathered from public-domain sources.
It is HUDEL LIVING intention that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, HUDEL LIVING cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
HUDEL LIVING shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, expenses or otherwise caused by any delay in delivering the goods.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery to a UK mainland address. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
